Texola Energy Provides Project Update

Vancouver, BC - Texola Energy Corp. announced that it is in discussions with third party contractors relating to its proposed seismic program on two large anticline trend areas which were identified in 2006 on its Maverick Springs Project, Nevada, USA. The Company has also acquired and renewed a number of leases in and around its Maverick Springs Project area.

The Company continues to retain its interest in the earned leases covering the Chinchaga prospect in Alberta, Canada, and will provide further updates on it operations in Alberta once it is in a position to do so, with the consent of its partners.
